Meet Randy
Randy has been serving the needs of homeowners in Oregon since 1996. Born and raised in Oklahoma, he traveled out to Oregon frequently to spend his summer holidays with his mother. Finally in 1996, Randy moved out west. Like many other people, he was attracted to the lush beauty of the Willamette Valley and the many outdoor activities it encouraged. The rain did come as a bit of a shock in the beginning but he has since come to appreciate it. Randy and his wife Christine are now raising three young boys at their home in Springfield, OR.
Randy’s work with homeowners began as a realtor in Lane County in 1996. Over the years he has helped many Lane County residents buy or sell a home. While working as a realtor Randy noticed that he had a strong attraction to the lending side of a real estate transaction and with the help of his current employer began originating residential home loans in 2002.
Randy first started researching reverse mortgages in 2003 due to an inquiry from a business contact and funded his first reverse mortgage loan in 2004. Right away he knew that he had found something that he really enjoyed doing which has matured into a passion. In addition to helping seniors improve their quality of life by helping them acquire a reverse mortgage Randy also provides education on the subject of reverse mortgages via seminars that he holds throughout the state of Oregon.
